A revitalized the Russian player claimed his first trophy for over two years with success over opponent Moutet in the competition title decider.
Medvedev, a ex- top-ranked player, has endured a challenging season, achieving just one match at the big events and undergoing a meltdown at the American major.
The player's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his service game in especial - caused him falling of the top ten and eventually separating with former trainer Cervara.
Presently training with Johansson and Rohan Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently progressed in the recent weeks - peaking in a closely contested three-set victory over challenger Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's first championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hard surface after spring of 2023.
Success also means he has won twenty-one titles at 21 distinct competitions.

Medvedev's defensive play style and frequent outbursts on court had led observers to wonder if his skill to play at the elite level was over.
However the athlete has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, making an effort to come to the net and play assertively, supported by an better serve.
Medvedev came back from a break down in the opening set against the challenging Frenchman, winning 4 of the last five points to gain the advantage.
The competitors swapped service breaks in the middle set before Moutet, bidding for his maiden professional championship, gained dominance to push for a third set.
The opponent defended four early-game chances in a competitive third set before the champion won the break to fifteen to close out the victory.
Fittingly, Medvedev earned the title with a point at the net area, with his opponent incapable to control a return after a lengthy match.
